Summary:
|
IMT-2030 refers to systems, networks, services and related technologies that provide enhanced capabilities as described in [ITU-R M.2160-0], in which, the enhanced capabilities include, among others, the coordination of communications, sensing, computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and security. To enable further development of standards and other publications for IMT-2030 networks, it is necessary to specify the common terms and definitions for IMT-2030 networks. This work contributes to the development of the standardization series of IMT-2030 networks; and is market valuable for network operators, service providers, and end users, for the reason that a general understanding of terms and definitions will lay the foundation of technical development, industrial development and further deployment of IMT-2030 networks.
This Recommendation specifies the common terms and definitions for IMT-2030 networks, including terms defined elsewhere and new terms, which are suitable and applicable for IMT-2030 networks.
