Summary (provides a brief overview of the purpose and contents of the Recommendation, thus permitting readers to judge its usefulness):
This Recommendation aims to specify the requirements and framework for network-UE collaboration based on intelligent awareness in IMT-2020 networks and beyond. It identifies key requirements and functional framework aiming to support user intent awareness, intent related interaction, and closed-loop assurance across network and UE.
This work will provide guidance for the design and deployment of future IMT networks capable of delivering intelligent, reliable, and personalized assurance services aligned with user intents. By enabling coordinated interaction between network entities and UE, user intents can be more comprehensively perceived through the joint utilization of UE-side context awareness, application-level information, and network-side analytics and control capabilities. Such collaboration will allow assurance mechanisms to evolve from passive monitoring to proactive, adaptive, and user-centric service assurance.
NOTE - The requirements on the UE are out of scope of this Recommendation. They will be considered from the perspective of the impact on the network specifications.
