Summary:
|
AI agents are increasingly adopted across various aspects of future networks. However, multiple ITU-T work items currently employ inconsistent terms, creating ambiguities that hinder coordinated standardization. From this point of view, it is proposed to develop this Recommendation to provide a context for the use of certain terms and definitions, so as to avoid misunderstandings in AI agent-related standardization activities.
This Recommendation contains terms and definitions related to AI agents in future networks, to provide a general understanding of AI Agents in future networks and a normative reference for the development of AI Agent-related documents in ITU-T.
This Recommendation aims to address the lack of unified terminology for AI agents in future networks in the current related standardization work. It establishes a systematic and consistent glossary of network-related AI agents terms and definitions, and lays the foundation for subsequent standardization of requirements, framework design, and technical implementations related to AI agents in networks.
