Summary:
|
ITU-T L.1037 was published in September 2025. At the meeting of ITU-T SG5 in June 2026, ITU-T SG5 received a liaison statement from SVC TD 980 asking for the following:
· Expand abbreviations in Note 1 of E-waste processing definition. Therefore, it was agreed to expand the abbreviations
A term seems to be missing in “waste operator definition”. It’s not clear what is being referred to: collection, transportation, …. of what? Therefore, it was agreed to add” waste of electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)” to the definition to make it clearer.
