Summary:
|
Speech intelligibility is a key influencing factor of user experience, particularly in emergency and satellite communication scenarios.
The subsequent research steps for this report are as follows: conduct a gap analysis between existing ITU-T subjective test standards and typical NTN scenarios, study intelligibility test methodologies for different languages, and propose phrase or sentence level subjective assessment methods.
The expected outcome is an identification possible gaps, improvements or extensions to existing Recommendations, potentially leading to new Recommendation(s).
