Summary:

This Technical Report describes a framework for studying the maturity of vehicle–edge collaborative intelligence in connected and automated vehicle services.
The report introduces a maturity evolution model, quantitative assessment concepts for evaluating compute collaboration capability, and assessment principles for functional distribution between in-vehicle and edge computing environments. The framework is intended to support the evolution of connected and automated vehicle services from standalone vehicle intelligence toward collaborative intelligence enabled by vehicle–edge computing.
