Summary:
|
This Recommendation describes a secure and verifiable public opinion polling system based on DLT systems. In conventional polling systems, participant verification, data integrity, and transparency are typically managed in centralized environments, which may raise concerns regarding trust, manipulation, and lack of verifiability. To address these issues, this Recommendation introduces a DLT-based polling system that enables verifiable participation and secure handling of polling data. It specifies the overall framework, participation control mechanisms, and security requirements, including eligibility verification, data integrity protection, and information protection mechanisms in polling processes. This Recommendation is aligned with relevant security and DLT standards and provides a secure and trustworthy framework for digital public opinion polling systems.
