Summary:
|
This draft Recommendation will provide an overview of AI-enabled smart agriculture services and examines the applicability of reference architectures for these services in constrained resource environments. These environments include components such as heterogenous field devices and network topologies, that may have different types of distributed processing components, with connected, partially connected, and isolated conditions as well as restrictions in network infrastructure, energy and computation.
The draft Recommendation then identifies key technical restrictions in these environments that are the basis to define functional and technical requirements associated with deploying AI-enabled smart agriculture services that need that require different functionalities such as intelligent monitoring, predictive analytics, autonomous operation, scalability, resilience and reliability.
