Summary: This draft Recommendation specifies the requirements and framework for a digital twin system for distribution network fault recovery, enabling rapid fault isolation and restoration in situations where information is incomplete, sensors are damaged, or communication is partially disrupted. The system is established to monitor and simulate the status of post-fault distribution network states, also provide and execute the fault recovery solutions. It also provides assistance for managers to quickly understand and intervene in high-pressure environments. It covers the standard process requirements for digital twin system for distribution network fault recovery. This draft Recommendation aims to address the high uncertainty of faults of distribution network and the high real-time requirements for fault recovery through digital twin and IoT technologies, thereby enhancing the resilience of the distribution network.
