Summary: Micro-grids play an important role in supporting reliable and efficient energy supply for various energy consumption scenarios. With the increasing adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for sensing, monitoring, and data integration, micro-grids are evolving into highly interconnected energy systems. This draft Recommendation specifies the overview of assessment of IoT-based micro-grids system for resilience, assessment framework and assessment indicators for resilience evaluation. It establishes consistent and standardized framework to evaluate the resilience of IoT-based micro-grid system, supports accurate data acquisition and analysis for resilience assessment, and thereby enhances energy supply reliability, system resilience, and operational sustainability of micro-grid system.
