Summary:
|
This draft Recommendation specifies the Functional Architecture Model for Agentic Artificial Intelligence of Things (Agentic AIoT), an autonomous and goal-driven system that integrates advanced cognitive agents with IoT infrastructure. The architecture establishes a layered framework distributed across Device, Edge, and Cloud domains to ensure reliable, scalable, and interoperable operations.
At its core, the draft Recommendation provides detailed specifications for key functional entities and defines interfaces to facilitate seamless communication and interoperability between diverse, heterogeneous agents within the ecosystem. To standardize autonomous behavior, this draft Recommendation specifies agent interaction flows, including procedures for goal decomposition, multi-agent task allocation, and active perception.
By enabling multiple cooperating agentic components to share tasks and proactively collect context-specific data, this architecture ensures that Agentic AIoT systems can achieve complex objectives through coordinated analysis and execution across multi-agentic deployments.
