Recommendation ITU-T J.152 specifies requirements for cable television (TV) systems that use an IMT-2020 system, also known as 5G. It serves as a last-mile solution to replace the wiring inside urban apartment buildings or to extend cable TV systems in rural areas. However, to use the available bandwidth, cable TV service signals have to meet certain requirements to be carried over IMT-2020.
