Summary:
|
This Recommendation provides a structured set of functional test methods for devices supporting SRv6, with the objective of verifying whether various behaviors of devices supporting SRv6 reach the expected SRv6 functional requirements under given test conditions. This Recommendation adopts a behavior-oriented approach, in which test methods are defined at the level of behavior categories rather than being tied to specific protocol clauses, thereby enabling applicability to a wide range of SRv6 behavior types and deployment scenarios. The functional test methods are organized in a layered manner, including SRv6 forwarding behavior tests, SRv6 policy behavior tests, and SRv6 service forwarding tests.
This Recommendation is intended to support consistent functional verification of devices supporting SRv6 across different test environments, while allowing flexibility in test execution.
