Multi-cloud computing has emerged as a dominant strategy for businesses and organizations looking to maximize their use of cloud technologies. A multi-cloud approach involves using services from multiple cloud providers rather than relying on a single cloud provider. This strategic shift is driven by risk mitigation, avoiding vendor lock-in, best-of-breed selection, cost reduction and reducing latency.
This draft Recommendation specifies test cases for functional testing of muli-cloud, covering functional testing for user access management, service discovery, service management, connectivity management, monitoring and reporting, and service policy management based on the functions specified in [ITU-T Y.3555].
