Summary:
|
A public decision-making framework (PDMF) is standardized in draft Recommendation ITU-T Q.5036, which specifies data management interfaces for a public decision-making service based on the intelligent edge computing (IEC) architecture in Recommendation ITU-T Q.5001. However, the PDMF does not specify signalling requirement and architecture to support AI-based public decision-making services closely aligned with IEC architecture for the practical deployment and interoperability of IEC-based services.
Therefore, the Recommendation specifies a signalling requirements and related architecture for public decision-making services. It defines functional blocks, referred to as AI-based services and applications, to control and interwork information across the public decision-making framework and intelligent edge computing architecture. In addition, reference points and associated requirements are specified to enable interoperability between the PDMF and the IEC.
