Summary:
|
This Recommendation aims to define a comprehensive architecture- and management-layer framework for key management for QKDNi, including an overall architectural overview of key management between/across QKDNs, a lifecycle governance model ensuring consistency and accountability, a management-plane interaction model clarifying policy and control coordination between/across QKDNs, and a high-level operational model describing system-level workflows between/across QKDNs. By complementing existing signalling-focused Recommendations with an integrated architectural and governance perspective, the proposed work will provide the necessary foundation for scalable, interoperable and policy-consistent QKDNi key management between/across QKDNs.
