Summary:
|
With the development of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twins and satellite Internet, as well as the integration of communication services with diverse industry scenarios including manufacturing, healthcare, finance and education, the convergence of communication network technologies in terms of data transmission with computing, intelligence, control, data analytic and other related technologies will become a key development trend. To address these trends, various SDOs have already launched extensive technical research initiatives and development of standards for IMT-2030.
This Technical Report analyses the trends, survey findings and requirements analysis of network convergence in data transmission for IMT-2030. It describes the overview of the network convergence trends including use cases and scenarios, and analyses the challenges and potential requirements.
