Summary: On the one hand, the mission and target of the network is supporting various services, meanwhile the basis to carry out the mission and target is mainly coming from network resource. So, the network forwarding path generating and management mechanism enhanced by network service awareness and network resource is both important and efficient. On the other hand, in order to realize the self-governance capability, intelligent forwarding path generating and management method is required to be used for generating and managing more appropriate forwarding path that can support the service more efficiently and use the network resource more economically. This draft Recommendation targets to specify network forwarding path generating and managing mechanism based on intelligent awareness of service and resource including and not being limited to general capability of HLN, basic model of network forwarding path generating of HLN, general network path mechanism of HLN, implementation methods of the mechanism and other aspects related to the mechanism etc.
