Summary: Recommendations ITU-T Y.2501 and ITU-T Y.2502 establish the foundational functional architecture and the resource authentication and orchestration architecture for the computing power network (CPN). However, as services become increasingly diverse and dynamic, mapping high-level service requirements directly to heterogeneous resources becomes highly complex. To further enhance the intelligence and efficiency of resource orchestration and management, this Supplement provides the consideration of intent awareness for collaborative scheduling within the CPN orchestrator. Specifically, this Supplement specifies the potential framework for integrating the intent awareness capability into the CPN orchestrator. It details how this capability serves as a bridge between the CPN service layer and the underlying resource orchestration by acquiring, translating, verifying, and prioritizing service intents to generate precise resource requirements. Furthermore, it describes the interactions among the intent awareness capability, the resource orchestration functional entity, and the computing power OAM to establish a closed-loop verification mechanism. This mechanism ensures that the collaboratively scheduled CPN resources continuously and accurately fulfil the service intents.
