Summary: Cloud computing, leveraging technologies such as virtualization and cloud-native architectures, has realized resource pooling and elastic scalability, effectively supporting the digital transformation across various industries. With the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, AI cloud platform has emerged alongside traditional cloud platform. Currently, AI cloud platforms are experiencing explosive adoption across global industries, with the market in a state of intense growth. From the view of cloud service categories, i.e., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and MaaS, AI cloud platform introduces new elements and new security threats in each layer correspondingly, compared to traditional cloud platform. The security requirements for traditional cloud platform is insufficient to protect the AI related services by AI cloud platforms. It is imperative to develop corresponding security requirements for AI cloud platform. This draft Recommendation provides the security requirements for artificial intelligence cloud platform. It focuses on the AI-related security threats which are introduced by the AI-related services and elements compared to traditional cloud platform. The security threats are analyzed from the view of IaaS, PaaS, MaaS and IaaS layer. The security requirements are provided based on the security threats correspondingly. This draft Recommendation can be used to enhance the security of the development and deployment of AI in cloud environments.
