Summary:
|
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology with the potential to drive significant economic growth and societal advancement. The strategic importance of AI highlights the critical need for AI Security Management Framework (AISMF) to address the issues of AI security, trust, privacy, and to ensure safe and responsible AI systems development across all sectors including telecommunications and ICTs.
The current cyber defenses are no longer sufficient as Artificial Intelligence (AI) is outpacing the organisations security capabilities. The cyber threats are evolving faster than organisations defenses can adapt. With unprecedented speed and scale, AI is enabling attackers to bypass systems with security risks and threats. AI is widening the gap and the organisations are facing the challenges to keep pace with the required security capabilities in protecting AI systems.
The AI Security Management Framework (AISMF) provides a structured security management approach for responsible AI systems development that includes AI security management standard practices for AI systems, infrastructure, and operation and supported by the AI principles, governance, risks assessment, and security controls within the AI systems development lifecycle. AISMF promote trustworthiness and resiliency of AI systems by managing the cybersecurity risks, enabling defenses against evolving threats, and implementing the required security controls.
