Summary:
|
QKD systems are highly susceptible to external interference and require stable environments to operate, so high-precision and high-sensitivity devices, and specialized optical fibers are needed for its deployment. Furthermore, QKD can only provide cryptographic keys, but it relies on cryptographic algorithms to perform encryption. PQC can provide pros to cover the deficiencies of QKDN.
The technical report presents the enhancement of network functionality of Quantum Key Distribution Networks with Post Quantum Cryptography. First, the overview is listed from the perspectives of network, which is the basis and premise for the report. Then, use cases are proposed. Finally, the implication for standardization activities in SG13 is given.
