Summary:
|
This contribution proposes the initiation of a new WI on Technical Report ITU-T: "Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Test Methods for Civilian UAVs with Cellular Communication Modules." This work item addresses the EMC challenges associated with cellular communication modules in civilian UAVs during various flight scenarios. It aims to define relevant operational scenarios, specify emission limits and immunity levels, outline test methods, and establish performance criteria. By doing so, it ensures reliable communication transmission and enhances the safety of civilian UAVs with cellular communication modules in complex electromagnetic environments, for example the power line inspection scenarios.
