This draft Recommendation addresses Agentic Artificial Intelligence of Things (Agentic AIoT) as an autonomous, goal-driven AI system integrated with IoT infrastructure. It specifies the functional requirements for such systems, where AI agents continuously perceive, plan, act, learn, and explain their dynamic behaviors across multi-agentic AIoT deployments to achieve objectives. Multiple cooperating agentic AIoT components share tasks, manage coordination and actively collect the data needed to meet their goals, working in concert to analyze information and execute coordinated actions.
