Summary: The network evolution towards 2030 is a strategic and long - term initiative led by SG13, and its core motivation is to develop enhanced capabilities that address emerging service demands. Building on the infrastructure of Next Generation Networks (NGN), the network evolution towards 2030 focuses on the diverse and complex network service demands from various industries by adopting key technologies, and it is expected to create and provide excellent network service capabilities that are intelligent, customized, and highly efficient. In this consideration, the synergistic advantages from adopting emerging network technologies such as SDN, NFV, AI, digital twin etc. will be explored. For example, AI-enabled automated intelligent scheduling could potentially enable efficient allocation and real-time optimization of network resources in future networks. Through the innovative application of these technologies to the next generation network, an evolved version of the next generation network oriented towards 2030 could be explored, laying a better foundation for the digital transformation of future society and the vigorous development of various industries.
