Summary: In recent years, with the advancement of the United Nations' sustainable development strategy, the global demand for new energy development and power grid construction upgrades has grown rapidly. To achieve clean energy and carbon reduction goals, countries have significantly increased their investments in grid construction to accommodate large-scale renewable energy integration. Behind these investments is a broad demand for engineering projects and further expansion of the power grid. This recommendation aims to requirements and framework for an AI-based video surveillance system in power grid construction, enabling intelligent management and safety assurance on construction sites. By integrating key features such as video polling, electronic mapping, AI-based recognition, and statistical analysis, the monitoring system can monitor the construction environment and personnel operations in real-time, identify anomalies, and provide data support to enhance precision and efficiency in construction management. The establishment of this standard will promote the application of video technology in power grid infrastructure projects, strengthen safety and quality management, and provide essential support for technical standardization within the industry.
