Summary:

The purpose of this Recommendation is to enable the MR guide system to accurately and efficiently recreate the historical scenes of cultural heritage sites, provide an immersive interactive environment for visitors, promote technological progress in the digital protection and display of cultural heritage sites, enhance visitors' cultural experiences, and promote the dissemination and protection of cultural heritage. This Recommendation describes the requirements for an MR guide system at cultural heritage sites. This Recommendation also describes a framework for an MR guide system for cultural heritage sites, including site data acquisition module, spatial computing cloud server, content creation module, content cloud server, and MR guide client. The Recommendation further addresses content traceability, safety prompts, content preloading and content metadata management to support stable and reliable MR guide services.
