Summary:
|
Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), a novel evolving concept and a critical enabler of digital transformation has evoked the interest of diverse stakeholders’ ecosystems including but NOT limited Governments, NGOs, Civil Society, Private Sector and SDOs (Standards Development Organizations). Global SDOs are attempting to develop standards around the DPGs (Digital Public Goods) to bring Interoperability, Safeguards with the DPI and develop Open-Source Stacks to proliferate the technology solutions for improving public service delivery at scale across the globe.
The Digital public infrastructure (DPI) is a shared means to many ends. It is a critical enabler of digital transformation and is helping to improve public service delivery at scale. Designed and implemented well, it can help cities achieve their priorities and accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals.
