The metaverse offers an immersive experience that blends virtual and augmented realities, creating environments where digital representations feel genuine. However, as these representations become increasingly lifelike, distinguishing between genuine identities and AI-generated or fake ones becomes challenging. This lack of clarity raises concerns, as users may unknowingly interact with inauthentic entities, eroding trust in the metaverse.
Identity visualization can foster trust in the metaverse and improve confidence and interaction in the metaverse, which usually includes identity representation, visual indication of verified identities, consistency across multiple metaverse and identity visibility control.This draft new Recommendation studies the identity visualization in and across metaverse, and provides its concept, framework and requirements.
