Summary: Since 5G NR base station applies a beam-forming technology, it has an advantage of increasing data transmission-speed and sending much data using wide bandwidths, but it also implies an increased complexity in measuring and estimating RF-EMF exposure in a specific space. This Recommendation proposes a new EMF evaluation method to be applied to measuring and estimating radio frequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) levels in the surrounding environment from for 5G New RRadio (NR) base station using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
