Summary: With the sophistication of cyber-attacks, security for vehicles with automatic driving and with high vehicle connectivity has to be accordingly implemented, and in particular, technologies for detecting unauthorized intrusion into vehicles will be significantly indispensable technology in the automobile industry. This Recommendation provides a methodology for evaluating IVIDSs (in-vehicle intrusion detection systems) in views of its performance, effectiveness, etc. Target IVIDSs in this Recommendation are mainly identified in Recommendation X.1375.
