Summary:
|
The IMT-2020 network and beyond has the potential to close the loop of all mobile services by integrating network and computing resources seamlessly. This convergence of networking and computing brings several strong advantages, particularly in the realms of orchestration efficiency and capability invocation. Combining the capability of network and computing, the capabilities based on the perception, control, and management of computing resources can be introduced to enhance the M&O, in the context of IMT-2020 and beyond. M&O for coordination of networking and computing provides the capability to jointly schedule service requests to optimal service endpoints along the network path and guarantee the quality of service (QoS) for end users.
This Recommendation specifies design principle, requirements and framework of management and orchestration for coordination of networking and computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, to satisfy various experience of multi users by utilizing computing resources.
