Summary:
|
This Recommendation defines the framework of distributed vehicular multimedia system (DVMS) for V2X networks based on the edge computing (EdC) possibilities. DVMS consider the ITU-T Recommendation F.749.3 with defined use-cases and technical requirements for vehicular multimedia networks (VMN), vehicular multimedia system (VMS), Vehicular multimedia service platform (VMSP).
There are following advantages DVMS framework as the distributed computing system with comparison of centralized VMS:
– computing and network resource of VMSP allocation;
– increase of services performance;
– decentralization;
– user demand services;
– reduction of delays.
