Summary: This technical report seeks to study the integration of advanced network technologies offers a significant opportunity to address the persistent challenges faced by SMEs in developing countries. By leveraging 5G/6G networks, AI, IoT, and cloud computing, SMEs can achieve better connectivity, improved operational efficiency, and greater access to global markets. This document provides a detailed approach to understanding the importance of SMEs, identifying their challenges, and exploring how future network technologies can be applied to mitigate these challenges. It highlights examples from India and proposes a comprehensive framework for adoption of Future Networks and Emerging Technologies (Industry 4.0) to support the digital transformation of SMEs.
