Summary: This Recommendation specifies the functional architecture, functional entities, reference points, and operational procedures, for the requirements and framework defined in Y.3113, based on the architecture defined in Y.2111. Meanwhile, Y.3113 specifies the use of flow aggregate (FA)-based scheduling and regulators at aggregation domain (AD) boundaries. Y.2111 specifies the resource and admission control functions (RACF) in support of end-to-end quality of service (QoS) and necessary transport functions in next generation networks (NGNs).
