Summary: This Recommendation contains a reference framework for the process of cybersecurity risk management of IoT ecosystems in smart cities, which provides a series of key risk indicators (KRI). So, city officials can assess the level of risk in IoT ecosystems that are used in the development of a smart city, in order to support their sustainability and resilience goals-. The Guidelines include: To describe the elements of an IoT system and analyzing the contribution of each one to the total value of cyber risk in a smart city environment. To analyze the risk factors that should be considered when applying a cyber risk management methodology in IoT systems in smart city environments. To assist governments at all levels to do self-evaluations and encourage them to share the results with others.
