Summary:
|
Self-organization networking (SON) is responsible for automatically planning, configuring, managing, optimizing, and remedying networking. When building SON in IoT environment, an IoT device moves frequently, and IoT service requirements change from time to time. In such an environment, it is difficult to manage IoT services and devices in a centralized manner. Blockchain supports dynamic trusted SON management and secure network resource sharing by using smart contract and consensus protocols.
This Recommendation describes a framework for the support of SON in IoT environment using blockchain.
