This Recommendation provides the concept and classification of city infrastructure. The sensing device management system of city infrastructure is also described.
A lot of city elements are taken into consideration in building smart cities such as environment/resource, man-made landscape, public facilities, education/science/culture/health facilities, administration, and organization. This Draft Recommendation identifies these elements and provides the framework and requirement of sensing device management system for those city infrastructures. The sensing device management system provides unified management to the sensing devices attached to various city infrastructures.
This Recommendation is helpful for the cities to build smart city by improving the efficiency and resilience of city infrastructure through using ICT.
