This Recommendation is a part 3 of the testing specifications for OIP/OIR services implemented on IMS basis on the user side. The standard specifies the test suite structure and test purposes (TSS&TP) which can be used for testing against the Recommendation ITU-T Q.3618 v.1 "OIP and OIR using IP Multimedia core network subsystem. Protocol specification".

ITU-T Q.4002.3 v.1 will supersede ITU-T Q.3943.3. It was decided to change the Recommendation number to include this Recommendation in the new series Q.4000-Q.4039 which is dedicated to SIP-IMS test specifications
