ITU-T G.7041/Y.1303 (2005) Amd. 1 (03/2006)

عربي | 中文 | English | Español | Français | Русский
This amendment to ITU-T Rec. G.7041/Y.1303 increases the MTU size that should be accommodated by the source adaptation process when mapping client data frames into GFP-F. The original MTU size of 1600 octets was chosen based on largest anticipated IEEE 802.3 Ethernet frame MTU size. In its new 802.3 as standard, the IEEE has increased its MTU to 2000 bytes. In order to support this new 802.3 MTU, the GFP-F MTU is being increased to 2000 octets in this amendment.
