Amendment 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8265.1/Y.1365.1 (2010) contains updates that define the usage of specific fields within the transport-specific field in IEEE 1588 messages, and clarifies that a system consisting of packet master and telecom slaves must be configured to support only a single clock hierarchy.
