一般保护倒换–线性路经和子网保护

本建议书定义与面向连接层网络（如，光传输网（OTN）、数字同步系列（SDH）网和异步转移模式（ATM）网）的各种线性保护方案有关的一般性功能模型、特性和程序。
　　同时，本建议书亦定义上述方案的目标和应用。本建议书所述的保护方案为具有单个信号或组群信号替代监测方式的路径保护和子网连接保护。此外，本建议书亦阐述链路容量调整方案（LCAS）所提供的耐久性。
　　环状网保护和互连子网（如环形）保护方案的一般功能模型、特性和程序在其它建议书中加以规定。
