ITU-T G.8273.2/Y.1368.2建议书规范了在ITU-T G.8271、ITU T G.8271.1、ITU-T G.8275和ITU-T G.8275.1建议书定义的网络架构下运行的，同步网络设备所使用电信边界时钟和电信时间从时钟的时间和相位最低要求。此建议书支持分组网络的时间和/或相位同步分布。
本版建议书仅适用于来自网络的全部定时支持。这些要求适用于为设备规定的正常环境条件。
修正2提供了以下更新：–第7.1.2段–在第此段中增加了T BC/T-TSC的C级可变温动态时间误差低通滤波噪声生成（MTIE）；–附件B和附录II的编辑性修改；–更新附录VI。
