单模光纤和光缆的线性与确定性属性的定义和测试方法
ITU-T G.650.1建议书包含了单模光纤和电缆的线性的、确定性参数的定义,还包含了用于描述这些参数的参考测试方法和可供选择的测试方法。
这些测试方法主要适用于单模光纤和电缆的线性的、确定性属性的工厂测量,有些测量方法也可以用于描述离散光学元件的特性。

1993年,从单模光纤建议书(如ITU-T G.652建议)中删除了定义和测试方法并将其用于编写ITU-T G.650建议书的初始版本。
1997年第二版ITU-T G.650建议书增加了极化模式色散的定义和测试方法及其附录一、二和三。此外,还增加了截止波长的改进测定(第5.3.1.3.4条)。
2000年第三版确定了极化模式色散的参考和替代测试方法,修改了芯线同心度误差的定义和测试方法(第3.4和5.2条),增加了第5.1.4条和附录四、五、六。
2002年,为了便于充实并完善,ITU-T G.650建议书被细分成较短的建议书。ITU-T G.650.2建议书包含单模光纤和电缆的统计及非线性属性的定义和测试方法。
2004年的第二版ITU-T G.650.1建议书增加了第三种替代测试方法“频谱衰减建模”(第5.4.4条)和新的附录三“矩阵模型示例”。相关材料已从单模光纤建议书移至ITU-T G.650.1建议书。此外,还增加了色散拟合程序(附件A)。
2010年第三版ITU-T G.650.1建议增加了测试方法“宏弯曲损失的测试方法”(第5.6条)。从第5.3条中删除了跳线截止波长。截止波长测试方法中增加了附加说明(第5.3.1.3.2条)。对公式5-1做出修正。验证试验方法中增加了详细说明(第5.7条)。附录二更新完成。
2018年第四版ITU-T G.650.1建议书增加了附录四(摘自2012年发布的第1次修订),目的是提供相干多径干扰的测量程序。用于色散测量的干涉测量技术已从第6.5条中删除并移至附录五。完善了针对MFD的ITU-T G.657光纤测量细节、截止波长和光谱衰减测试的描述。对电缆截止波长测量的RTM和ATM进行了改进。在第一章第三节中增加了一个插值方法的示例。对公式6-1做出修正。
ii) ITU-T G.650.1建议书(2020年10月)
2020年第五版ITU-T G.650.1建议修订了第三种替代测试方法“光谱衰减建模”(第6.4.4条),使之能够涵盖更少预测波长在更窄波长范围建模的适用性。在附录三“矩阵模型示例”中,ITU-T G.652光纤的现有示例矩阵由使用四个预测波长的新矩阵取代,并添加了使用三个预测波长的ITU-T G.654.E新光纤矩阵。此版本解释了建模误差作为预测波长数量的函数,对波长的依赖。
