密集波分复用系统的光监测
ITU-T G.697 建议书定义的光监测(OM)有助于密集波分复用(DWDM)系统开展以下活动:
– 针对系统和信道启动、新增信道等的配置管理;
– 发现和隔离故障的故障管理;
– 旨在保持系统运行并在故障发生前发现蜕变的恶化管理。
DWDM 技术迅速得到改进,持续拓展信道数量,信道速率和覆盖范围。长途多跨越DWDM系统能够在没有电气终接或再生的情况下,传送光信号达数千公里。
这一持续的趋势使作为本建议书主题的光监测的重要性与日俱增。本建议书的这一版本介绍了因增益变化和光性噪比(OSNR)测量引起的光信道功率变化,并提出了有关可能进行设备监测和参数编码的地点的新附录。
