Conmutación de protección del anillo Ethernet

La Recomendación UIT-T G.8032/Y.1344 define el protocolo de protección automática (APS) y los mecanismos de conmutación de protección para las topologías en anillo Ethernet de la capa ETH. Se describen en detalles las características de la protección en anillo Ethernet, las arquitecturas y el protocolo APS en anillo (R-APS).
En esta revisión se actualizan las referencias, se suprimen los elementos que quedan en estudio y se integran términos anteriormente definidos en la Recomendación UIT-T G.8001/Y.1354 (2016).
