Recommendation ITU-T G.8260 provides the definitions, terminology and abbreviations used in ITUT Recommendations on timing and synchronization in packet networks.
Amendment 1 to Recommendation ITU-T G.8260 (11/2022) provides the following updates:
–Updated definitions with consideration given to the use of this terminology in metrology
–New Appendix II "Time scales" added
–New Appendix III "Clarifications on the term traceability" added
–New references added to Bibliography
–Revised terminology based on inclusive language.
