Physical layer management for G.fast transceivers

Recommendation ITU-T G.997.2 specifies the physical layermanagement for fast access to subscriber terminals (G.fast) transmissionsystems. It specifies managed objects for configuration, fault, status,inventory and performance management.

The 2018 edition of this Recommendation integrates ITU-TG.997.2 (2015) and all its amendments and corrigenda. It adds the followingnew technical material:

– correction on loss of power definition for reversepower feeding (RPF);

– correction to the special value of SNRps;

– inclusion of managed objects for showtimereconfiguration;

– correction to the range of valid values ofLOM_PERSISTENCYds/us;

– inclusion of managed objects CLASSMASKds/us.
