يقدم التعديل 1 على التوصية ITU-T G.8271.1/Y.1366.1 التحديثات التالية:‏توضيحات وتحسينات في الفقرة ’11‘‏، بعنوان قياس الحدود القصوى النسبية للأخطاء الزمنية.‏التغييرات الصياغية التي تحل محل مصطلح المعايرة مع تعويض يعبر على نحو أفضل عما هو مقصود في هذه التوصية.‏أضيفت الحدود المعززة للشبكة عند النقطة المرجعية C باعتبارها الفقرة 3.3.7، ثم نُقل النص القديم الوارد في الفقرة 3.7 للوضوح إلى الفقرة 1.3.7 الجديدة ونُقلت الفقرة القديمة 5.7 إلى الفقرة 2.3.7 الجديدة.تغيير صياغة غير شاملة تماشياً مع المعيار IEEE1588g.
