تتضمن التوصية ITU-T G.8275.2/Y.1369.2 مواصفة بروتوكول مزامنة الدقة PTP)) التي حددها قطاع تقييس الاتصالات من أجل توزيع الطور/الزمن بدعم جزئي من الشبكة (أسلوب الإرسال إلى عنوان شبكي واحد). وتقدم التفاصيل اللازمة لاستعمال المعيار IEEE 1588 بما يتفق مع المعمارية الوارد وصفها في التوصية ITU-T G.8275/Y.1369. وتعرّف هذه التوصية ملف تعريف بروتوكول الوقت الدقيق فيما يتعلق بأسلوب الإرسال إلى عنوان شبكي واحد فقط. ويمكن أن تشمل الصيغ المقبلة لهذه التوصية ملف تعريف منفصلاً لحالة مختلطة من الإرسال إلى عنوان شبكي واحد/عناوين شبكية متعددة.
